A new adventure in Georgia serving the Lord

On July 30, 2019 Linnea and I were called to the Georgia Atlanta Mission. We are so excited to serve in the Southern state of Georgia and will use this blog to share our Mission experiences with our family and friends.

One September 16th we entered the MTC for a week of wonderful training. We were greeted at the check-in by the younger Elders and Sisters that helped us move our luggage up to our room.

Of course we had to have traditional world map photo. Last time we were pointing to Samoa.

We were with a group of about 80 senior missionaries going all over the world. This is part of the group. Notice the four senior sisters, they are going to various parts of North and South Dakota, Buuurrrr.!!!

This is our District that we had most of our training classes with. The Christensens are going to the Philippines, and the Quists are going to Sweden. Our morning trainers were Brother Davis and Sister Daluz.

These are our afternoon trainers, Brother Kidd and Sister Abernathy. Sister Abernathy served in the same mission (Utah St. George) as Olivia and had several opportunities to be around her.

It was a great but tiring week. It is so wonderful to be around all the young Elders and Sisters. Gramma loves to watch people and she enjoyed watching the hundreds of people at the MTC, it made her day. The spirit is so strong at the MTC and we are excited to start our new adventure in Georgia. After goodbys at Ben's, and Kenny's we spent the night in Evanston,Wyoming, then off to Kearney, Nebraska. From Kearney we arrived in Chicago to spend P-Day (Monday) with Max and Julie. We had two nights and one day for a wonderful visit with them and then to Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Tuesday. Wednesday we will arrive at the mission office in Peachtree City, Georgia and hope to be in our apartment that night. We love you all and pray the Lords will bless your lives as we serve in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. The Gospel is true and may the Lord bless ya-all .
